Everything was perfect, decent location really close to Santillana del Mar and the Altimira Museo, the old town of Santillana del Mar and the centre of town, genuinely helpful staff. Stayed in well-appointed and compact king room with a massive king size bed.

I had a great vacation stay here, the location was fantastic with easy access to everything I wanted to see and the restaurant offered delicious Spanish dishes.

We had a wonderful stay at Posada de la Abadia and wished we could have stayed longer. The room was light and comfortable, with shutters for total darkness when sleeping. The property is situated on the edge of the old town, just a 5-minute walk away. Safe parking is available right outside. The hotel is spotless, tastefully decorated, and has no strange smells. The owners are incredibly welcoming and provide loads of information about the town and nearby attractions. The continental breakfast was tasty and the value for money is great.

The larger room I stayed in had a private balcony with garden views that made me feel like I was in a picturesque countryside retreat. The gift shop at the property was a delightful surprise and allowed me to find souvenirs to bring back home, making my stay even more memorable. The convenient availability of free parking nearby was a great advantage, ensuring that I didn't have to worry about finding a spot for my car.

The included breakfast was tasty and the parking, although limited, was available. The hotel is nicely decorated, the room was clean, and it is conveniently located within walking distance of the ancient center but away from the hustle and bustle. Manager Juanjo provided exceptional service throughout our stay and made us feel very welcome. The balcony rooms offer a peaceful view and the smart bathrooms were a nice touch.
